'Boot Boys' by Philip Bond

'Boot Boys' was one of a stream of pulpy subculture novels written by James Moffat under the pseudonym Richard Allen in the 1970s. Other titles include 'Suedehead', 'Skinhead', 'Skinhead Girls', 'Terrace Terrors' and 'Sorts'.
Bond Book Club review: not at all recommended reading.

FEAR & LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS By Jim Mahfood.

Chock full of true grit, man.

FOUR AUTHORS by Sean Phillips

Still no time for any new art, so here's the paintings I've been doing in the last few issues of Fatale...

AMERICAN PSYCHO by Cameron Stewart

One of my favourite books is American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, which will probably automatically make some people uneasy. It's not for the squeamish or easily offended, it's shockingly violent and unpleasant but at the same time fantastically funny and well-written.

I tried to avoid making this drawing of Patrick Bateman look too much like Christian Bale but it ended up being reminiscent of him anyway.

The Doom that came to Sarnath by Rev. Dave Johnson

I must admit, I did this drawing a while ago at Drink and Draw without purpose. This weeks subject gave it a reason to be shown. The art just felt like a H.P. Lovecraft story.

TURN OF THE SCREW by Becky Cloonan

Turn of the Screw is By Henry James- the language might be a bit difficult, but I've always enjoyed this story and the ensuing insane governess debate! I also love the ending.

"literature" by Oeming

this is from the novel A GAME OF RAT AND DRAGON by the invisible master of science fiction Cordwainer Smith. Also my wife Taki Soma's favorite writer. Amazing stuff, just pure imagination. If Moebius was a writer only... he'd be Cordwainer. He is truly a writers writer.
