What Not ( pronoun ) "Informal unspecified assorted material" Which is what we hope to achieve every week with a varied range of subject matter, from a varied group of artists. You know. . . What Not.
Wow, really good illustrations, even thought I think that the ones with Poe and HPL work better, they are more illustrative, not with the second picture being in a rectangle. Also they are monochromatic (sorta), they are more coherent. But maybe the ones with Marlowe had to be done differently, because of the editor or graphic designer. What were the reason for the changes in background and colors?
We don't have an editor and I'm the designer too, so it's all my fault. Just fancied a change, that's all. I never have time to read the books as the art and design is done the day before we go to press usually. Makes it more difficult to think of something for the background if I'm not already familiar with the author's work.
Really impressive, nice job!
Wow, these are incredible! I absolutely love them. Great work!
These are four of the very best illustrations I've seen in a LONG time!
...Wow. Just blown away!
